Plastid's economic success and use were aided by its physical and chemical qualities, which attracted many users. However, environmental threats have resulted from the indiscriminate usage of plastic. Plastic Waste Management Regulations were notified to address these issues. EPR, or an initiative to assign substantial responsibilities, is a policy aimed at promoting scientific procedures for managing plastic waste and putting it to good use, such as road building and energy recovery, to make profits out of the waste and achieving social objectives of the society by keeping the environment free from toxic substances. It also tries to encourage producers to return plastic garbage as part of their extended producer responsibility.
